Kronos Trading

Until now, it was possible to choose between Binance and Bybit.

However, Binance has announced that it will no longer support Futures (for French residents) as of the beginning of August 2022.

To begin, you must register on one of the Exchanges of your choice.

Then perform the KYC and set up the 2FA (recommended) on the account created.

Then follow the tutorial below specific to the desired exchange

Please note: Trading is done on the Futures account, so it should not be connected to another bot or used for personal purposes.

Please note: Any addition or withdrawal of capital must be communicated to the Kronos team so that the monthly billing can be done correctly.

Log in to your Binance account (ideally a sub-account), then :

• Click on "Derivatives" (1) ;
• USD-M Futures (2).

If you haven't used Binance Futures yet, then you will need to pass the Quiz.

Take the time to answer the questions, they take about 3 minutes.

You will be able to change your answers if they are wrong.

Click on the "setting" icon (1)

Then click on "Preferences" (2)

Click on the "position mode" icon (1)

Then click on "Hedge mode" (2)

Then click on"Confirm".

Click on the "profile" button

Then click on "API Management".

Then create an API.

Name it as desired (Example: Kronos API)

Then click on "Next", then "Edit".

Click on "Enable Futures" (1)

Copy / Paste theAPI KEY and the secret key.

Important: You will need these keys later to register to Kronos

Then, save the changes (3)

Preamble: Create a sub-account (recommended)

At Bybit, you have the possibility to create a sub-account dedicated to the Kronos Trading strategy. This can be useful to segregate the funds allocated to the strategy.

To do this, go to the Bybit dashboard:

• Click on Profile [1] ;
• Click on sub account [2].

Then click on :

• Create a sub-account [1];
• Under Standard account [2].

Note: You can also select "custom sub-account". The sub-account will then have a dedicated password.

Then click on :

• Enter the user name of your choice (example: Kronos123424) [1] ;
• Fill in the remarks (to identify the sub-account) [2].
• On "Confirm".

Enter the verification code received by email (if 2-factor authentication is enabled).

Your sub-account is created!

Creation of the API key

To access the dashboard to create your API key:

• Click on your profile [1], then in the drop-down menu click on "sub-account" ;
• Click on "Sub-account" [2] ;
• Click on "API Management" [3].

Bybit note: "For the security of your assets, your API secret key will only appear once when it is created and will be hidden afterwards. Be sure to keep your API keys secure."

These keys will have to be communicated to Kronos Trading afterwards, so it is necessary to store them somewhere (and securely).

Click on "Create a new key".

Select "System-Generated API Keys".

Warning: This step is very important. A wrong configuration can block the link to the strategy.

Click on "Connect to third party applications" [1].

Select"Wunderbit" [2].

API Key Authorization: Read and Write [3]

Select"Orders" and"Positions" [4]

Check"Derivatives API V3" [5]

Click on"Send".

Enter your Google Authentificator code (if enabled).

Note: It is recommended that you always enable this type of verification to improve the security of your account.

Copy your "API Key" and your "Secret API".

These should be communicated to Kronos later for the implementation of the strategy.

Your API is created!

Log in to your sub-account

In order to continue with the settings, it is necessary to connect to your sub-account. To do so, you need to: 

• Click on your profile icon [1] ;
• Click on sub account [2] ;
• Click on "change account" [3].

Select the sub-account you wish to connect to.

Set the trading parameters of your sub-account

Attention: The following settings must be made on the account used (either on your main account if you do not use a sub-account, or on the sub-account if you have one).

To do so:

• Click on "Derivatives" [1] ;
• Click on "Perpetual contracts in USDT" [2] ;
• Click on "BTCUSDT" [3].

Access the BTCUSDT parameter by clicking on the "parameter" button [1].

Click on "Position mode" [1].

Click on "Cover mode" [2]. 

Attention this step is very important, the "Hedge Mode" must imperatively be selected.

Click on "Confirm" [3]

The BTCUSDT pair is set up.

For the strategy you use, you simply need to fund your sub-account (or main account if dedicated to the Kronos strategy) with a minimum of 20,000 USDT.

No other transactions are permitted on this Futures account.

It is important to notify the Kronos team of any deposit or withdrawal (excluding initial deposit) on your account via the dedicated form (see FAQ section below).

To make a deposit to your Bybit sub-account, several steps are necessary: 

1. Make a deposit to your main Bybit account;
2. Transfer assets from the main Bybit account to the Bybit sub-account.

Step 1: Make your deposit to your main Bybit account.

To do this:

• Click on "Assets" [1] ; 
• Click on "Spot" [2] ;
• Select USDT and click on "Deposit [3].

Then select the desired blockchain and transfer your assets.

Step 2: Transfer your assets (USDT) from the main account to the Kronos sub-account

To do this:

• Click on your profile icon [1] ; 
• Click on "Sub-account" [2].

Continue the operation as follows:

• Click on "Transfer an asset" [1] ;
• Select the original account [2];
• Select the destination sub-account "Derivatives" and the asset "USDT" [3] ;
• Enter the amount to be transferred [4] ;
• Click on "Submit" [5] ;

The deposit on the sub-account is finalized.

Reminder: It is important to inform the Kronos team of any deposit or withdrawal (except for the initial deposit) on your account via the dedicated form (see FAQ section below).
